LEAD Nigeria is part of the global LEAD family which
is an International network of over 1200 professionals in 70 countries
who are committed to environment and sustainable development. LEAD
Nigeria is hosted by The Foundation for Environmental Development and
Education in Nigeria (FEDEN).
LEAD Associate phase involves National and
International training which covers 50 days over an 18 month period. At
the end of the training, graduates join the network of LEAD fellows.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Prospective applicants to LEAD Nigeria should be aged
between 28 and 40, in full-time employment and resident in Nigeria.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
DEVELOPMENT
LEAD’s training combines knowledge of the most
current environment and development issues with skills including
leadership and team building, conflict management and negotiation and
public presentation – all in a multicultural learning context.
Members of LEAD are drawn from the sphere of
business, media, NGOs, government, and academia. Full support of
employers is needed throughout the training.
